How did we get here?
In my experience with small companies, after several years of innovation and the standard turnover of employees, the organizations reach a tipping point where everything they want to do takes longer and causes other processes to break. Whether it is difficulty in onboarding and keeping new-hires because of a lack of documentation or training, tribal knowledge lost because of one person leaving, or the inevitable halting of progress because the solution originally developed did not have scale in mind, I have been in the privileged position to do something about it.
